Job Summary: 
Are you someone who takes pride in accuracy and high-quality craftsmanship? We are looking for a Manual Re-Winder to join our production team in Hayesville. This isn't just a packaging job; it is a critical quality control role where you ensure our wire and cable products meet the exact standards our customers expect. 
 
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Operating take-up and payoff equipment to rewind wire onto finished reels. 

• Conducting rigorous quality checks on wall thickness and conductor centering. 

• Ensuring every spool is labeled correctly and matches the production "Traveler." 

• Maintaining a safe, organized environment that reflects our commitment to quality. 

• Detail-Focused: You notice the small things—like whether a wire is perfectly centered or a label matches a work order exactly. 

• Reliable & Consistent: You show up ready to hit productivity standards and take ownership of your workspace. 

• Technically Minded: You enjoy working with machinery and precision tools like calipers to verify work quality. You have the ability to understand and follow complex technical work instructions.  

• Adaptable: You can pivot between different tasks and equipment setups as production needs change. 

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.  Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and varying temperatures.
