Head of Housekeeping / Executive Housekeeper

Location: Hiawassee, GA

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience. Room for growth. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position. 

The Head of Housekeeping is responsible for managing all cleaning and housekeeping operations across a portfolio of short-term rental properties. This role ensures properties are cleaned, inspected, and guest-ready between stays while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. The Head of Housekeeping supervises cleaning staff, coordinates turnover schedules, manages inventory, and conducts quality inspections.

Qualifications: 

• 2–5 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality, vacation rentals, or hotels.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Ability to navigate mobile applications and update task completion status in real time.
• Strong attention to detail when completing inspections and documenting issues within the system.
• Ability to manage multiple properties and priorities simultaneously.
• This is a working leadership position that requires both management and hands-on housekeeping responsibilities.
• Familiarity with property management systems and scheduling software is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required. 
• Must be located in the Lake Chatuge area. 

Schedule Requirements: 

• Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays as required by business needs.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
• Ability to respond to urgent housekeeping needs when necessary.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on experience.
