Do you have a heart for hospitality and enjoy helping people feel at home? Hinton Rural Life Center, a United Methodist retreat and mission is seeking a Guest Services team member to provide a warm welcome and excellent care for our guests.
As the first point of contact for visitors, you’ll create a spirit of Christian hospitality by greeting guests, assisting with reservations and check-ins, answering questions, and helping them feel cared for throughout their stay. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and attending to details that make a big difference.
What You’ll Do:
Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out.
Provide friendly, professional responses to inquiries and guest needs.
Open and manage our campus gift shop, including stocking and financial responsibilities.
Assist with amenities such as recreational equipment, grounds care, and hospitality areas.
Carry a cell phone during guest stays (including some evenings/weekends) to respond to needs.
Help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across campus.
What We’re Looking For:
A friendly, approachable presence with excellent communication skills.
Dependability and a “can-do” attitude when meeting guest needs.
Attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to safely operate a vehicle and maintain a clean driving record.
High School diploma or equivalent work history.
Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
