Community Dance: Evil Twins with caller Charlotte Crittenden
Charlotte Crittenden first came to Brasstown in 2006 to be a Work-study student at the Folk School . She never left! Charlotte had a fair amount of dancing experience prior to coming to Brasstown, but took her first steps as a caller by taking the caller's workshop at the Folk School during her first summer here. The Folk School community generously supported her in her early years, and Charlotte now calls regionally for many different community dances. She loves working with beginner dancers and watching their enthusiasm for dance grow as they learn more and more.
The Evil Twins features David Andrew (Courret-)Knight on fiddle, and Laurie Fisher on piano, drums, and fiddle. The Evil Twins plays primarily for contra and couples dancing along with occasional performances and Scottish and English country dances.
