71st Annual Georgia Mountain Fair
August 19-27
Yes, for 70 years thousands of folks have been gathering for the annual all-ages fair capturing the finest of North Georgia history and culture and crazy fun carnival rides. The musical lineup this year consists of regional stars and legends, including Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Byrd, Lonesome River Band, Mike Snider and Appalachian Road Show. Local arts and crafts booths will carry handmade gifts, jewelry, home décor and more. Fairs are food-fun places, so get ready for your favorite funnel cakes, bratwurst and a variety of mountain-style favorites. Visit the Pioneer Village and watch Old Ways demonstrations that keep alive the traditions of making our own, such as quilting and moonshine distilling. Historic Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Dailey & Vincent's American Made Music Fest
September 15-17
Celebrate Americana! If you love country, bluegrass and gospel music, two-step over to Dailey & Vincent's American Made Music Fest, presented by Springer Mountain Farms. Each day doors open at 12:30 pm so guests can set up best spots for legendary stage performances, including Dailey & Vincent, Riders in the Sky, the U.S. Navy Band, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder.
