! This captain-led lake cruiser is charmingly themed like a tiki bar, offering a fun, retro way to cruise Lake Chatuge. Perfect for groups, your Aqua Tiki adventure comes with a bartender, plenty of floats for the water, a grill, island tunes and complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and water. It’s an ideal way to get out and enjoy sparkling Lake Chatuge without worrying about navigating our waterways. Simply hop on, relax and enjoy the ride.

Want an exciting activity that will get you up and active during your getaway? Try your hand at pickleball
! Combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis, this game will have you swinging and shuffling across our state-of-the-art pickleball courts. The Towns County Pickleball Complex has 14 impressive courts that are open daily, and, due to its position right along the shores of Lake Chatuge, promises stunning views while you practice your swing. Indoor courts are also available at the Towns County Old Recreation Center, available for play from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays. Grab your friends and challenge them to a match. - Discover the History of the North Georgia Mountains
If you’re a history buff excited to learn more about Georgia history, we’ve got the perfect hidden gem for you. Located in Hiawassee, the Old Rock County Jail
now stands as a testament to our area’s past. Built in 1936, the facility operated as Towns County’s jail until the 1970s, when a new facility was constructed. The Towns County Historical Society transformed the historic space into a museum, offering exhibits about the former jail and the town as a whole. Guests who visit this attraction can also explore the historic Presley Post Office, and view artifacts and photos from a Towns County of decades past.

If you’re looking for the ideal place to enjoy picture-perfect views of sparkling Lake Chatuge without dipping your toes in, take a drive up and visit Lake Chatuge Dam! The reservoir, which controls water flow to the neighboring Hiawassee River, features a 1.5-mile paved walking path that’s perfect for stretching your legs and soaking in the beautiful, natural scenery created by our lake and surrounding mountains.
