Designed by Denis Griffiths, the golf course winds through wildlife preserves, ponds and streams framed in by the mountains. With five sets of tees, all skill levels will be able to enjoy a layout that is maintained to standards you'd expect.
Featuring five miles of trails, the new Stables primarily offers one- and two-hour guided mountain trail rides, accommodating all experience levels, from beginner to advanced.
Lake Chatuge’s national class lake, marinas and other facilities for swimming, boating, and other water sports attract nautical fans from all over to its shores. They choose from locally rented pontoon boats, ski boats, jet skis, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards. Others bring their own craft, adding to our community of enthusiasts who pursue their passions along Lake Chatuge’s 130-plus miles of shoreline with its naturally formed coves, inlets, and hideouts. You’re treated to this treasure just a short drive or flight away in the quaint towns of Hiawassee and Young Harris, Georgia, nestled in the stunning North Georgia mountains.
Open free of charge to the public for swimming via a sandy beach, sunning, picnics and a playground, the Towns County Beach on Lake Chatuge is a community treasure.
