Young Harris College Observatory Open House

On this special evening(if skies are clear), the YHC Observatory will be open to the public for telescopic viewing.  The observatory features a 14-inch telescope and is located approximately 1.5 miles from the college campus.  Maps will be available at the on-campus O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium/ 1 College Street/ Young Harris, GA  30582.  Observing sessions last up to one hour.  (***PLEASE NOTE:  There's limited parking, no shuttle service, no restroom facilities and it's an uphill walk to the observatory from the parking area.***)
