Local artist Julia Stevens will teach a brief lesson on drawing in nature at the Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris. Patrons can check out sketchbooks to draw or paint their own nature art. The sketchbooks will circulate through the community until Friday, July 23, when patrons’ original artwork will be displayed and judged. Prizes will be awarded in all age categories, preK through senior adults .
The Sketchbook Project is part of the Tails and Tales Summer Reading Program at the Towns County Public Library and Mountain Regional Library.
