FOUNDATION TRAINING – Class Limit 10 by Julie Shaw

4 Sessions, Friday, July 26 – August 16, , 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Classes will be held at the Sunrise Yoga Studio, 18 Herbert St. Hayesville, NC. 28904

No experience required and everyone is invited to join us for this 4 week introductory series with Julie Shaw, Level I Foundation Training Instructor. Foundation Training is a group of simple to learn exercises that help us reclaim our natural posture and movement patterns. Foundation Training will help you push back against gravity, reversing the breakdown that comes with poor posture, a sedentary lifestyle and gravity. If you want to be stronger, improve athletic performance or heal those achy joints, Foundation Training could be the answer you've been looking for. Please bring Yoga mat, beach towel, eye pillow (if you want to use one), blocks and straps (if you have them) and water.

Julie founded her yoga practice about 13 years ago in Florida and immediately felt as though this was the missing piece of her life. In June 2007, Julie graduated as a 200 Registered Yoga Instructor. Right after graduation, she began teaching almost immediately at the Clay County Recreation Department. In 2008, Julie opened Sunrise Yoga Studio. Julie received her Foundational Training certification from Dr. Eric Goodman, the developer of Foundation Training, and 5 of his Master Trainers in April 2017.
