ICL: Beginning Landscape Watercolor 101 - Tuesday, April 18 – May 23
Within the changing colors of mountain scenery, we shall find our inspiration for painting techniques. Learn or re-imagine how to layer different types of washes, bleeds, & wet on wet techniques. We will paint different types of scenery every week including mountain ranges, fields, valleys and water views, beginning with class 1- you will amaze yourself!
With these techniques & processes you will be able to paint your own favorite views. Class suitable for beginner - advanced. If you have been away from painting for awhile, this is a good way to restart.
Supply List: Bring your favorite watercolor papers, brushes, watercolors, #2 pencil, pallet, brush rinsing container, masking fluid and spray bottle to join the fun. Optional sketchbook or notebook for notes is recommended.
If you are new to this, just bring whatever supplies you already possess and during the first class we will talk about the merits of various paints & brushes. THEN you can decide what else you might want to purchase.
A materials fee of $14 payable to the instructor for color copies will be collected the first day of class.
