The John C. Campbell Folk School is thrilled to present Centennial Sounds\, a special five-concert series celebrating the rich musical traditions of Appalachia while amplifying diverse voices shaping its future. Funded in part with a grant from the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina\, the series is part of the Folk School&rsquo\;s yearlong 100th anniversary celebrations and will take place on select Monday evenings from May through September 2026 in the school&rsquo\;s historic Festival Barn.

\n\nJuly 27 &mdash\; Cornbread &\; Tortillas with Zoe &\; Cloyd
\n\nAug. 10 &mdash\; Rebecca Porter &\; the Rhinestone Roses with The Wilder Flower
\n\nSept. 14 &mdash\; Jake Blount Band with Hubby Jenkins (from The Carolina Chocolate Drops) and Hannah Mayree (from The Black Banjo Reclamation Project) \;
\n\nAll shows are held in the historic Festival Barn at 7 p.m. &mdash\; $25 for adults and $5 for youth.
