She studied banjo with David Brose during her\n\nfirst trip to John C. Campbell in 2011.\n\n\n\nAllie is best known for her work with The Whipstitch Sallies (folk/songwriter/bluegrass -\n\nIndiana)\, Frank & Allie Lee\, and The Freight Hoppers (old time - North Carolina). Her children's\n\nfolk album\, SING & PLAY ALL DAY\, was released in 2022. Her new record\, BLOOM AGAIN\, is a\n\ncollection of 20 songs and tunes highlighting the contributions of women in old time and folk\n\nmusic.
